Polk County Peace Officers Association Gives Recognition to Those Who Help, MOSCOW, July 26, 2013 - The Polk County Peace Officers Association (PCPOA) held a meeting in their Moscow facility to recognize those who have given time and/or money to help their cause. Acting president and Livingston Police Department Detective, Leon Middleton headed up the meeting and went over financial business. The PCPOA exists simply to help the people of Polk County. The association presented the American Legion Riders Post 402 with a plaque thanking the riders for a fund raiser that the riders recently held and raised over $4,000 for the PCPOA.
The association also presented a plaque to Pat Polston for constructing an elaborate barbecue pit with two massive pits mounted on a 16 foot trailer complete with a serving bar for serving food and / or slicing barbecue.
Amongst other things, the PCPOA raises money annually for scholarships for local youth, and raises money for Relay for Life.
Middleton presents a plaque to recognize the American Legion Riders Post 402 for their support.

The mobile pit actually has 2 massive barbecue pits, it's covered, has lighting and is complete with a serving bar.
