Sheriff patrol units sit at the Gabriel Jordan dealership just south of Livingston on US-59.
Thieves Hit Gabriel Jordan Car Dealership in the Night, LIVINGSTON, December 5, 2010 - Sometime in the middle of the night between 12/04 and 12/05, thieves did their holiday shopping the criminal way when they stole the tires and wheels of at least 10 new Ford Trucks, 4 new suvs, and a car.  At approximately 7:35 am on December 5, 2010, a passer by noticed that a truck at Gabriel Jordan was up on jacks and called the Polk County Sheriff's Office.  Deputy Larry Pitts was dispatched to the scene and upon arrival noticed that it was much worse as he counted 10 truck and 5 other vehicles with all 4 tires gone, on blocks, and lug nuts left on the concrete beside their vehicles.  Additionally Deputy Terri Mayer was dispatched and detective Christopher Lima.  The thieves brought in small blocks of wood apparently because their small, light weight, and it would be easy for one person to carry many.  Each vehicle was done the same way, all tires gone, lug nuts on the concrete, and up on small wooden blocks.

In June of 2009, Gabriel Jordan was hit in similar fashion and was vandalized.
