22 year old Michael James Brandon was caught by LPD. Police used Blake Galloway's cell phone to text him and arrange a meeting place (under the guise of Galloway).
Second Suspect Caught in Golf Cart Theft Case, LIVINGSTON, May 16, 2012 - The second of two suspects in the case of the Livingston golf cart thefts has been apprehended by Officers Adam Williford and Jason Thomas (both with Livingston Police Department).  The arrest came a few hours after Blake David Galloway, 22, of Livingston was apprehended by Officer Thomas.  Officers Thomas and Williford used the cell phone of Galloway to text the second suspect who was still at large.  The second suspect, Michael James Brandon, 22, of Livingston, responded to the Officers' texts (as the officers posed as Galloway with the text messages).  Through texting, Williford and Thomas were able to cajole Brandon to meet them at the railroad tracks that run by Marsh Road and Matthews Park.  Sure enough, thinking he would meet his partner in crime, Michael Brandon showed up only to be apprehended by Officers Williford and Thomas.  A short time later, Brandon confessed to the theft of the golf carts and the theft of the 3 golf carts from the same place a day earlier (City of Livingston Parks and Recreation Barn).
