Valero in Goodrich Reportedly Robbed at Gunpoint, GOODRICH, October 23, 2012 - At approximately 10:40 pm on October 22, 2012, the Valero off US-59 in Goodrich was reportedly robbed at gunpoint.  Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to secure the scene and begin a preliminary investigation.  It is not known to PolkCountyToday.com how much money, if any, the robber got away with.  He fled across Highway 59 into the Goodrich area and seemed to have got away.  Detective Christy Allen with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the scene and has begun a full investigation.  The suspect was wearing dark clothes, a black hoody, and a mask.  He is believed to be a black male about 6 foot tall and weighs around 200 lbs.  The suspect is also believed to be driving a small red car.  If you or anyone you know has any information on this crime, please contact the Polk County Sheriff's Office immediately.
 
In November of 2008, the Same Valero was Burglarized.
