Livingston Man Killed by Firearm in Apparent Hunting Accident, EAST POLK COUNTY, November 13, 2012 - Late at night on November 10, 2012 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a shooting that occurred out East of Polk County. The victim was identified as 71 year old Milton Celestine of Livingston. According to witnesses, Celestine and two other males were hunting when one of them was unloading a weapon and discharged the firearm killing Celestine in an older model pickup. Celestine was sent to Jefferson County where an autopsy was conducted. Once the investigation is complete it will be referred to the Polk County District Attorney’s Office. The pickup was recovered by Ken's Towing and transported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office for further investigation.
