Almost like yelling fire in a crowded theater: Don't show up at a small store donning a mask.
Two Local Youths Learn a Lesson in What Not to Joke About, LIVINGSTON, May 12, 2012 - At around 7:40 pm on May 12, 2012, two youths (one from Livingston, and one from Goodrich) got a lesson in what not to joke about. According to witnesses, a small silver truck pulled up to R&D Grocery on 146 South and FM-1988 East. The witnesses said two young men (both 16 years old) were wearing masks (as if to rob the long time establishment). One of the youngsters got out of the truck. The joke suddenly took a more serious turn when the two yutes found themselves staring down the barrel of a shotgun with a serious law man on the other end. Whatever the case, the two youngsters learned a lesson about what to do, and what not to do where. The youngsters were cuffed and loaded into the back of a patrol unit, parents were called, and they got a serious talkin to from Sergeant William Jerry who was accompanied by Deputy Jacob Chapman and Trooper Kevin Burman. Ultimately, they were allowed to go free, (after they apologized to the staff at R&D Grocery).
Sergeant William Jerry and Deputy Jacob Chapman deal with the youngsters and their youthful indescretion.
The two youngsters apologized to the staff of R&D Grocery (Deputy Jacob Chapman was watching from the side).
