Human Trafficking in Livingston, LIVINGSTON, April 8, 2021 - On April 5, 2021 at approximately 12:50 p.m. the Livingston PoliceDepartment was dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Washington Avenue inreference to subjects being rushed into a residence. While on scene Officersconducted an investigation and located enough evidence to establish probablecause for a search warrant. A search warrant for the residence was issued and asearch was performed which resulted in 14 undocumented male individuals beinglocated inside a bedroom. Of the 14, 4 were identified as juveniles ranging in agefrom 13 to 16. Upon further investigation a Hispanic female identified as NelidaRojas Angulo, 24, of Houston was located inside the residence and was detainedfor further investigation. It is believed the residence was being used to facilitatethe transfer of undocumented individuals into the United States. The LivingstonPolice Department then notified Homeland Security who then sent agents toLivingston to assist with the investigation. All individuals were released to thecustody of Homeland Security.
