Johnathan Blanchard gave our camera man an ear full of profanity when his picture was taken.
Driver Allegedly Crashes His Truck, Flees Scene, Arrested for Disorderly Conduct, LIVINGSTON, February 12, 2011 - Shortly after 11 pm on February 11, 2011, Troopers Kevin Burman and David Morris were dispatched to FM-350 South to investigate a traffic accident when a Ford F-150 had crashed in a ditch. The Troopers arrived to find the truck stuck in the mud in the ditch a short distance from the New Livingston High School. The driver had fled the scene. Deputy Billy Duke with the Polk County Sheriff's Office tracked down the truck's owner at the Wet Deck (a club at the end of 350 South). The owner, Johnathan Steve Blanchard was returned to the scene but claims he wasn't driving the truck. Often, drivers will lie in an effort to avoid being charged with a traffic violation. The truck was recovered by Ken's Towing and driven to the parking lot of First National Bank in Livingston along with Blanchard. As Blanchard was being questioned by the Troopers Burman and Morris, he became very belligerent and started dropping the F-Bomb on the Troopers, Deputy Duke, and anyone nearby. Blanchard then walked around Ken's wrecker and urinated (in public) on the back tire. In spite of Blanchard's denial that he was driving his truck when it crashed in the ditch, the mud caked on his tenny shoes (dark mud consistent with the mud in the ditch) suggested that he was in fact driving. Blanchard's unbecoming behavior and disregard for the law landed him in the Polk County Jail.
Johnathan Blanchard was charged with: Damage to highway landscaping (over $200), false report to a peace officer, disorderly conduct, and no driver's license.
