Driver Wrecks Vehicle, Charged with Felony DWI, GOODRICH, April 3, 2014 - At approximately 9:30 pm on April 2, 2014, a maroon Chevy Suburban driven by Rodney James Mclemore, 38, of Goodrich, was east-bound on FM-2665 (about 3 miles east of US-59).  Mclemore's vehicle left the road to the right and slid backwards to the edge of the woodline.  Troopers Donny Akers, Chris Cain, and Barett Duren (all with the Texas Highway Patrol) were dispatched to the scene.  Trooper Akers administered a field sobriety test on Mclemore and a breathalyzer test.  Mclemore reportedly blew twice the legal limit of intoxication.  Akers then placed Mclemore under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.  The charge is a felony charge since Mclemore has 3 prior convictions for DWI.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Mclemore's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
