Vehicle Collides With Motorcycle, 1 Hospitalized, LIVINGSTON, March 4, 2016 - Shortly after 4 pm on March 4, 2016, a gray Kia Sorento driven by Trevie Lee Leonard, 73, of Trinity, was east-bound on West Church Street. Leonard attempted a left turn onto North Willis Street but failed to yield to an orange custom built motorcycle driven by Billy Harlan Wiggington, Jr., 62, of Livingston. Leonard had a green light for a left turn (not a green arrow) and it was her responsibility to yield right-of-way to the oncoming west-bound traffic. Wiggington's motorcycle slammed into the front of Leonard's vehicle ejecting him in the process. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Ronnie Bogany with the Livingston Police Department. Bogany was assisted by Officers Kaleb Barker and Brandon Brewer. Wiggington was loaded into an ambulance and transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic on West Church was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. Trevie Leonard was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a left turn. A rollback wrecker from LakeView Wrecker recovered Wiggington's motorcycle and it will be stored in Livingston. Leonard's vehicle was driven from the scene.
