Logging Truck Turns Over on FM-350 North, MOSCOW, February 29, 2012 - At approximately 4 pm on February 29, 2012, a logging truck 18 wheeler driven by Ralph Colman, 71, of Conroe, was east-bound on FM-350 North a few miles west of US-59.  According to Colman, he had a blowout (he stated that he heard a tire explode).  Colman lost control of his loaded rig and turned with his rig laying across the road completely blocking all traffic.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Corrigan Volunteer Fire Department and Troopers David Flowers and Ramey Bass of the Texas Highway Patrol.  Colman sustained incapacitating injuries and was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital by ambulance.  Logs from the turned over rig were spread over the road and vicinity.  A heavy duty wrecker fro Riley Wrecker Service out of Corrigan was summoned to clean up the mess which had the road blocked for hours.  Though Ralph Colman claimed to have had a tire blowout, none of his tires showed any damage or air loss (which probably means another form of mechanical failure).

Special thank you:  Ken from Ken's Towing

A chaotic scene: Trooper David Flowers walks through the shambles. Flowers is the investigating officer for this accident.
