Guy Arrested for Burglarizing Police Car, CORRIGAN, July 9, 2021 - Late yesterday afternoon (07/08/21), an Onalaska man went to the Corrigan Police Department and decided to help himself to a parked police car. The police car was parked in a restricted area and there are legally posted signs stating this. Additionally, there's signs that specifically say, "DO NOT TAKE PICURES OR VIDEO OF INSIDE PATROL CARS". So this guy walks up, and decides to enter a posted restricted area and get inside a police car and start taking pictures and videos with his cell phone. To make matters worse, this is a video monitored area by the Corrigan Police. So, in very short time, multiple Corrigan Police Officers converged on the vehicle burglary and dealt with the problem. The man, Brandon Michael White, 37, of Onalaska was promptly arrested and booked into Polk County Jail. Stupid is as Stupid Does -- Forrest Gump (which means, if an intelligent person does stupid things, they're still stupid).
Just a day or two earlier, White decided to go stir up trouble at the Polk County Sheriff's Office. He recorded video with his cell phone as he accosted a deputy who was just trying to park. Then he walked into the Sheriff's Office and started dropping F bombs on the dispatchers and insulting the deputies.
