Child Molestor Gets 99 Years, LIVINGSTON, April 21, 2017 - Yesterday (04/20/17), a Polk County jury sentenced David Bradford Barnes to 99 years incarceration and assessed a fine of $10,000 after convicting him for the offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. The punishment range for the offense was 5 years to 99 years or life and a possible fine of $10,000. The complainant in the case was identified by the pseudonym of Lily Doe. The jury found Barnes guilty on Wednesday and assessed punishment today. The jury heard evidence that Barnes had sexually assaulted Lily Doe on more than one occasion. Additionally, they heard evidence that Barnes had three previous felony convictions. The longest he had been incarcerated prior to this offense was a year. Barnes will not be eligible for parole for thirty years.
