Immobilized customers standing around in the cold.
Mad Tire Slasher Goes Off at Down Under Club, LIVINGSTON, January 5, 2008 - A disgruntled first time customer of Livingston's Down Under Club allegedly slashed tires on 15 vehicles in the parking lot of the club. According to club owner Carl Boring, shortly before mid-night one of the customers who had "enough to drink" became aggressive around the pool tables. The customer was asked to leave and Boring says the customer went off, stating that he was a Marine and that they didn't appreciate his sacrifices. They finally got him to leave. A short time later when customers started leaving they noticed a disturbing development. The tires of almost every vehicle in the parking lot had at least 1 slashed tire. Some vehicles had 2 slashed tires. Livingston Police were called and Sergeant Ronnie Bogany and Officers Kevin Ward and Darrell Newman were dispatched to the scene. Customers who were ready to leave were standing around their vehicles, but couldn't leave because their flat tires. The perpetrator allegedly hurt himself during his vandalism spree and left blood on some of the vehicles. A blood sample was lifted by LPD and an investigation is under way. The owner and several of the customers are almost 100% positive they know who the perpetrator is.
