Sergeant Ronnie Bogany (right) spotted the stolen vehicle in the parking lot of Livingston CVS.
Youngster In Trouble, Charged with Stealing Car, LIVINGSTON, April 7, 2020 - Shortly after 9 am on April 7, 2020, Sergeant Ronnie Bogany with the Livingston Police Department spotted a car in the parking lot of Livingston CVS Pharmacy.  The car matched the description of a car that was reported stolen by the Diboll Police Department.  Sergeant Bogany approached the vehicle (Black 2020 Toyota Corolla).  The suspect, Rebecca Capps, 17, of Diboll, was sitting in the driver's seat.  Bogany questioned her and initiated an investigation.  Bogany was quickly joined by Officers Kaleb Barker and Scott Paske (also with Livingston PD).  As it turns out, Capps stole the car from her mother.  Capps (who's currently on probation in Angelina County) was arrested and charged for stealing the car.  The vehicle was left in place and the mother came to pick it up.

A similar story about stealing from mom in October of 2009...

The stolen car is a 2020 Toyota Corolla.
Not looking good for her: Officers Barker (left) and Paske don't appear to be buying 17 year old Rebecca Capps' apparent sob story.
