The Polk County Tea Party was held for the second year in a row on Tax Day (April 15, 2010) at Anniversary Park in Livingston. The event once again demonstrated the will of voters who are fed up with reckless, out of control spending and taxing in Washington. Folks from all over Polk County and Beyond came out and peacefully demonstrated as many voiced their opinions on a with a microphone and speaker system. The event was once again hosted by Classic Hits 92.3 The Eagle radio personality Outcast Don. There was a small amount of rain but it didn't deter the demonstration in any way.
This years organizer was Kathie Freeman (representative John Otto standing behind her).

Always a friendly and welcomed presence. Sheriff Ken Hammack and Lieutenant Matt Parrish with Livingston Police Department.
