LIVINGSTON, January 29, 2023 - I went to my grandson's basketball game. Clay plays for Team Black in the Livingston Youth Basketball Association. Team Black won 30 to 4.  While there, I took out my cell phone and snapped some pictures (which explains the low quality of the pics).  The leading scorer for Team Black was Roy Garner. Garner carried the load for the Team Black's scoring. Garner was so dominant that he scored 28 of the team's 30 points. 4 of his points came on free throws. Garner went to the free throw line 2 times, and both times he hit both of his shots...cleanly.  As I watched Garner, I observed how he was very focused on the game.  For such a young kid, he displayed a maturity to focus on the task at hand, winning the game.  Head Coach, Tony Barnett did a great job of guiding his team. Great game for Team Black.

Editor's Note: This doesn't mean I'm covering sports again. I'm just a grandparent who attended my grandson's game.
