Powerful Storm Slams Corrigan, CORRIGAN, June 7, 2013 - A late afternoon storm bore down on Corrigan on June 6, 2013. Strong winds and rain down downed seemingly countless trees and power lines. A number of residential structures were also damaged or destroyed. Trees were also laid over on US-59 and a number of other roads. Many areas lost electricity, and at time of press (June 6, 2013) much of the northern half of Corrigan and areas to the immediate north of Corrigan still does not have electricity restored.
