Narcotics and Firearms Have 4 Facing Felonies, BIG THICKET LAKE ESTATES, December 5, 2021 - On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, both Narcotic Divisions of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, began a joint investigation into tips received in reference to the possession of illegal narcotics, at an address located in the 300 block of Swick Trail, in Big Thicket Lake Estates.
Investigators from both agencies arrived at the residence and made contact with Levi Eugene Weatherford, 41, of Livingston, Lori Ann Howe, 40, of Livingston, Thomas Clint McKelvey, 44, of Livingston, and Blake Allen McCreight, 17, of Cleveland.
The investigation led to a search warrant being obtained for the property, where a large amount of methamphetamine and over 35 firearms were seized. After further investigation, numerous items of stolen property were also recovered. All subjects were subsequently arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail, without incident.
At this time the following charges have been filed, with possible additional charges to come as the investigation continues:
Levi Weatherford
• Manufacture and/or Delivery of Methamphetamine (1st Degree Felony)
• Two charges of Prohibited Weapon (3rd Degree Felony X 2)
Levi Eugene Weatherford, 41, of Livingston
Lori Howe
• Manufacture and/or Delivery of Methamphetamine (1st Degree Felony)
• Two charges of Prohibited Weapon (3rd Degree Felony X 2)
• Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon (3rd Degree Felony)
• Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon by a Felon (2nd Degree Felony)
Lori Ann Howe, 40, of Livingston
Thomas McKelvey
• Pardon and Parole Warrant
• Possession of Methamphetamine (3rd Degree Felony)
Thomas Clint McKelvey, 44, of Livingston
Blake McCreight
• Possession of Methamphetamine (Sate Jail Felony)
Blake Allen McCreight, 17, of Cleveland
All charges have been filed in Polk County and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is actively attempting to locate/identify owners of the recovered stolen property.
