4 Facing Felony Narcotics Charges, CRYSTAL LAKES, October 18, 2021 - On October 14, 2021, night shift Patrol Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office received information in reference to a residence in Crystal Lakes Subdivision on Lincoln Drive (The occupants allegedly in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine). Narcotics Detectives were notified and an investigation began. During this investigation probable cause was established for a search warrant for the residence off of Lincoln Drive. Detectives and Deputies executed the search warrant that was signed by Justice of the Peace, Jamie Richardson. Preston Scott Brown, 46, of Livingston, Jessica Poletine, 34, of Livingston, Kari Lafray-Matthews, 36, of Livingston, and James Matthews, 49, of Livingston, were found inside the residence. 

Deputies located a large amount of money and methamphetamine as well as the tools used in the distribution of illegal narcotics.

Brown and Poletine were charged with manufacture and/or delivery of a controlled substance, (namely methamphetamine, a felony of the first degree).

Lafray and Matthews were charged with possession of a controlled substance (namely methamphetamine, a state jail felony).
