Suspects Allegedly Steal Tractor from Church, BLANCHARD, October 15, 2014 - According Polk County Sheriff, Kenneth Hammack, on the morning of September 30th, 2014, the theft of a Kubota Tractor and trailer was reported by Church on the Lake, which is located in Blanchard on Lake Livingston.

Sheriff Hammack said the Polk County Criminal Investigations Division, assisted by a Polk County District Attorney’s Office Investigator, were able to develop a suspect identified as Kenneth Allen Thompson, 39, of Livingston, and Denise Rachel Brenner, 29, of Livingston.

Hammack stated that the detectives were able to gather information which led to other suspects being involved in the case and were able to confirm the involvement of several other suspects and the location of the stolen property.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for a residence in San Jacinto County and executed the search warrant, recovering the stolen Kubota Tractor.

Sheriff Hammack said Kenneth Thompson and Denise Brenner were arrested and charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. This investigation is ongoing and warrants are being issued on other suspects involved in this case.
