Deer Park Man Traveled to Polk County to Commit Child Sex Crimes, LIVINGSTON, September 22, 2022 - In July 2022, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of sexual abuse involving a child. The suspect in this case met the child on social media and traveled to Polk County, where he sexually assaulted the child. After an extensive investigation, Detectives identified the suspect as 26 year old, Angel Alexis Santos, of Deer Park.
Two warrants for aggravated sexual assault of a child were issued for Santos in August of 2022. Santos was eventually located by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agents and arrested in Brownsville, on September 16, 2022. Santos is currently incarcerated in the Polk County Jail, with bonds totaling $200,000.00.
