Tonya Lynett Watson, 46, of Livingston
YIKES!  Inmate Allegedly Put Chopped Up Razor in Other Inmates' Food, LIVINGSTON, September 23, 2023 - On the evening of September 1, 2023, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into the allegations of a female Inmate breaking up a shaving razor and placing the razor blade shards in the foods of other inmates.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office Detectives took over the investigation, which led to Inmate Tonya Lynett Watson, 46, of Livingston, being charged with four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (felony).

The incident was isolated to one female cell, where several other Inmates, who are housed in the same cell as Watson, noticed the razor blade shards in their food prior to eating and none of the food or razors were ingested by the inmates.

Watson has been in the custody of the Polk County Jail, since July 6, 2023, on the charges of Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution and a San Jacinto County hold for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.
