Tracy Henderson Allen, 61, of Livingston

Suspect Tries to Evade Deputies,Crashes His Motorcycle Into Creek Instead, LIVINGSTON, August 31, 2024 - The Polk County Sheriff’s Office announces the successful apprehension of 61 year old Tracy Henderson Allen, of Livingston, Texas, who was being sought by law enforcement on an outstanding Evading Arrest warrant, following a brief vehicle pursuit and extensive search operation.

On the afternoon of August 30, 2024, a Polk County Sheriff's Corporal, patrolling the FM 350 North area, in a marked patrol vehicle, identified Tracy Allen operating a motorcycle. The Corporal activated his emergency lights to pull Allen over. Allen attempted to evade the stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit that ended when he drove up a private gravel driveway and lost control of his motorcycle, causing it to enter a small creek.

The Corporal initiated a foot pursuit as Allen fled into a heavily wooded area. In response, additional units from the Department of Public Safety (DPS), Texas Game Wardens, and Livingston Police Department joined the search efforts.

After a coordinated search, Allen was located and apprehended in the wooded area without further incident. He was arrested for the outstanding evading arrest warrant and now faces an additional felony charge of Evading Arrest with a vehicle.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office extends its gratitude to all of our local responding agencies for their quick response and effective assistance in reference to this incident.
