Private Security Camera and Tips Help Help Deuties Arrest Suspect, LIVINGSTON, August 23, 2023 - On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a video taken from a Polk County residential security camera, on August 21, 2023, at approximately 2:09 AM. The video shows a female subject attempting to get away from a male subject. The female attempted to seek help by knocking on a door of a residence, where no one was home. While knocking, the male subject grabbed her by the hair and pulled her off of the porch and onto the ground. Your tips and information arrived expeditiously and assisted our agency in quickly identifying the male subject in this case as 30 year old, James Donald Allard, Jr., of Livingston. A warrant was obtained for Allard and Deputies served the warrant on him, at his residence, in Polk County. Allard was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Polk County Jail, on the charge of Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member (MA). James Allard was issued an Emergency Protective Order and given a $2,500.00 Bond. Sheriff Lyons appreciates the public’s assistance in cases like this and encourages our citizens to continue providing tips and information. Your continued support and cooperation plays a pivotal role in bringing these cases to a successful closure.
