Arrests Made for Organized Crime, ONALASKA, August 22, 2024 - On August 20, 2024, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division responded to a Burglary of a Vehicle call for service that occurred in the Forest Hills Subdivision. After investigation it was determined that a credit card was used in several places in Polk County and Onalaska.

Another call was received from a resident in the Four Corners subdivision, where a wallet with an AirTag was taken from inside the complainant’s vehicle. The complainant was able to provide the location of the wallet, which showed the location of the suspect vehicle. With the assistance of the Onalaska Police Department, probable cause was established and a traffic stop was initiated.

The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Ryan Barnes, 27, of Livingston and Kevin Barnes, 49, of Onalaska. Credit cards, a wallet with AirTag and methamphetamine were located inside the vehicle. Both subjects were arrested without incident.

Additionally, an arrest warrant will be issued for a third person in connection with this crime, Raelynn Tina Hebert.
