56 year old Arthur Bean, Sr. of Corrigan allegedly had the audacity to steal a firearm from a game warden. Bean was charged with theft of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
Suspect Allegedly Steals Game Warden Firearem, Whirlwind of Arrests Ensues, CORRIGAN, August 8, 2013 - On August 1, 2013, while assisting the Texas Game Warden Department Special Operations Unit in Polk County Texas several traffic stops were conducted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Dvision and as a result of those traffic stops a search warrant was obtained for a residence in the Subdivision of Reilly Village. The residence belonged to Arthur Earl Bean Sr. and his son, Arthur Earl Bean Jr. The Sheriff’s Office has received several tips about the residence being a known residence for narcotic distribution in the Polk County area. During the execution of the search warrant methamphetamine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana, and Xanax were uncovered.
Additionally, a stolen weapon was recovered from the residence. The below listed suspects were arrested at the residence and charged with the following:
Arthur Earl Bean Jr., 21, of Corrigan, charged with possession of a controlled substance and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
Victario Octavio (Tavo), 23, of Corrigan charged with possession of a controlled substance and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
James Moyeda, 21, of Groveton, charged with possesion of a controlled substance.
Douglas Blake Vasut, 29, of Corrigan, charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and three counts of possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility.
Ruperto Andres Carbajal Jr, 20, of Corrigan, charged with possession of a controlled substance.
