Lots of Trouble: Couple Featured in Crime Stopper Alert Caught, LIVINGSTON, August 4, 2021 - On August 2, 2021, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID), received a tip advising us of the name of a female suspect in a Burglary case that Detectives were actively working in the Four Corners subdivision. The tip identified the female suspect as Suzanna Sharman, and further advised Detectives that the two suspects seen in the video of the Burglary were presently at the Lonestar Inn motel, in Livingston.
CID Detectives, along with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, immediately deployed to the Lonestar Inn and made contact with both suspects at one of the motel rooms. They were then positively identified as Jerry Dale Jones II, 32, of Huntsville, and Suzanna Braswell Sharman, 30, of Channelview.
Detectives detained both suspects and during the course of the investigation located several illegal items in plain view in the motel room. Detectives then obtained a search warrant for the motel room and vehicles, locating methamphetamine and synthetic marijuana, a firearm, stolen items from the Burglary, and sheets of counterfeit money being printed in their motel room. Detectives also located the truck seen in the victim’s surveillance video and used in the burglary by both suspects.
Jones and Sharman, were both subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine/Synthetic Marijuana, Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon, Forgery of Government Money (Counterfeiting Currency), Burglary of a Building, and Displaying Fictitious License Plates.
Additionally, Jones was also charged with an outstanding Parole Warrant and Sharman was also charged with Tampering with Evidence.
