1 Year Old Dead from Gunshot, WILD COUNTRY, August 4, 2020 -PRESS RELEASE FROM THE POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE:On August 4, 2020, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Wild County Subdivision in reference to a one-year-old child with a gunshot wound (not self-inflicted). The child was flown to Herman Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The case is still under investigation at this time by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, more information will be released when available.
