Seth Justin Snyder, 34, of Austin
Alleged Repeat Burglar Caught, Arrested and Charged, GOODRICH, July 16, 2015 - According to Polk County Sheriff, Kenneth Hammack, on July 10, 2015, a residential burglary was reported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.  Deputies were dispatched to a residence off US-59 South in the Goodrich area.  When deputies arrived at the residence, they noted that numerous items of value had been taken from the house which included many Buddha religious items.  Detective Byron Dunaway was summoned to begin an investigation and recover evidence.

Burglar Strikes Again...
Four days later (July 14), the homeowner reported to Detective Dunaway that the same home was being burglarized again.  In the second burglary, additional things had been taken.  Sheriff Hammack instructed his staff to establish a plan of action to monitor the residence.  After several hours, patrol units from the Sheriff's Office observed a vehicle leaving the residence.  A traffic stop was initiated.  The driver of the vehicle, Seth Justin Snyder, 34, of Austin, was detained for questioning.

Evidence Link...
As the investigation proceeded, several items that were reported stolen from the residence were located in Snyder's vehicle.  Seth Snyder was arrested and charged with burglary of a residence, driving with a suspended license, and expired vehicle registration.
