2 Polk County Inmates Caught With Meth, LIVINGSTON, July 11, 2024 - On July 10, 2024, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, along with the Polk County Jail Division, conducted a contraband search of an inmate holding tank.
During the search of the tank, two inmates were found in possession of contraband. James Courtney Pierce, who was released on a jail furlough by the courts last week, was found in possession of methamphetamine and was charged with two felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.
Pierce’s cell mate, Antwain Jabor Franklin, was also found in possession of methamphetamine and also had marijuana on his person. Franklin was also charged with two felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.
