Shooting and Hydroponic Marijuana Lab in Wild Country, WILD COUNTRY, July 8, 2011 - On July 4, 2011 at approximately 6:22pm deputies and detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a shooting at a residence in the 1000 block of Hillbilly Heaven Rd. in the Wild Country Subdivision. Deputies arrived to find a 47 year old female had been shot in the chest area with the actor still at the scene. While securing the crime scene deputies located several marijuana plants growing in a bedroom along with a hydroponics marijuana lab.

Michael Warlick, 61, of Wild Country, is believed to be the owner of the residence, suspected shooter, and was still on scene.  Warlick was questioned by deputies.  Warlick stated to deputies that he did shoot the female.  Warlick was transported to the Polk County sheriff’s Office for further questioning. Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant for the residence from District Judge Elizabeth Coker.
