Young Couple Arrested and Booked In on Felony Drug Charges, ONALASKA, June 17, 2021 - On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, the Polk County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division conducted an investigation into the distribution of THC wax, the resinous extractive of cannabis, in the Onalaska area. During the investigation, narcotics detectives obtained information into Nicholas Aaron Prager, 25, of Onalsaska, and Hannah Morgan Fuller, 23, of Onalaska, in regards to being in possession of THC cartridges. Narcotics detectives later conducted a traffic stop on the suspected vehicle and found Prager and Fuller to be in possession of over 500 THC cartridges and their small child. During this traffic stop, probable cause was established for a search warrant for Prager and Fuller's residence, where narcotics detectives located over 60 more THC cartridges, and a large amount of marijuana. They also found items used to ingest, package, and distribute the said narcotics.
Prager and Fuller were charged with two counts of first degree felony manufacture and/or delivery of THC wax, felony endangering of a child, and a felony possession of marijuana.
Sheriff Lyons would like the public to know that THC cartridges are not the same as marijuana. THC cartridges contain tetrahydrocannibinols, other than marijuana, that are the resinous extractive of cannabis, and are listed as a controlled substance in penalty group two in the Texas Health and Safety Code. Thc cartridges are commonly called dab, wax, THC oil, or carts by drug users. Thc cartridges contain a very high concentrate of THC that is more potent than the cultivated marijuana plant. Dangerous side effects commonly lead to psychotic symptoms such as paranoia and hallucinations. This drug is being used in what is commonly known as vape pens and is being found in our local schools used by our children. The children claim these vape pens contain water, vape juice, or cbd oil in attempt to conceal the THC wax.
Traceable amounts of possession of this controlled substance is a felony offense in the State of Texas.
