Deputies Quickly Solve Alleged Burglaries, LIVINGSTON, June 12, 2020 - On June 11, 2020, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in the Cedar Point Subdivision in reference to Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. Evidence gathered by deputies suggested the burglar was residing in Cedar Point. Deputies went to the residence of the suspect and were able to obtain probable cause for a search of the residence. During the search of the residence, property was found that matched property that had been taken out of four different burglarized vehicles. Ryan Cain Barnes, 22, of Livingston, was arrested and charged with three counts of burglary of a motor vehicle, theft of firearm, unlawful possession of firearm by felon, and possession of a controlled substance.
