Home Burglaries Lead to Arrest of 4 Suspects, LIVINGSTON, June 7, 2023 - On Saturday, May 13, 2023, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary at two different residences, off of Second Street and Sundance Trail.

Several pieces of furniture, electronics, and household items were reported stolen. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division initiated an investigation and were able to gather information that resulted in obtaining a search warrant for two residences near the burglarized homes.

The stolen property was recovered in these residences and subsequently, returned to the owners. During the execution of the search warrant, narcotics were also found in the residence. The following (4) subjects were arrested in reference to this case:


Shane Melvin Meilike, 38, of Livingston, TX: Burglary of Habitation
Stephen Antonio Theis, 38, of Livingston, TX: Burglary of Habitation Possession of a CS PG 1/1-B <1G
Allen Randolph Banks, 39, of Livingston, TX: Burglary of Habitation
Tiffany Che Martinez, 39, of Livingston, TX: Possession of a CS PG 1/1-B <1G Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence w/Intent to Impair
