No Mayo Leads to Drug Arrest of 2, BEECH CREEK, May 19, 2020 - At approximately 12:30 pm on May 14, 2020, The Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service in reference to a domestic disturbance at a residence off of Beech Creek Road. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with a male and female identified as Tonya Wright, 47, of Livingston and Corey Wayne Hoffpauir, 41, of Livingston. While speaking with both Wright and Hoffpauir, both stated they were arguing verbally over Wright not putting mayonnaise on Hoffpauir’s sandwich. Wright then became angry and threw a coffee mug striking Hoffpauir stating he was a grown man and could make his own sandwich. While conducting this investigation illegal narcotics were observed in the residence. Later, it was found that both were in possession of methamphetamine. Hoffpauir did not want to file charges for assault but both were arrested for the possession of methamphetamine.
