LSD, Methamphetamine, Prohibited Weapons and Bath Salts, TAYLOR LAKE ESTATES, May 7, 2021 - On April 27, 2021, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to disorderly conduct, at an address located in the Taylor Lake Subdivision.
The caller stated that a female was attempting to burn down a residence. When Deputies arrived the female fled on foot into a wooded area. Deputies were able to quickly apprehend the her. She was then identified as Joanna Lang, 36, of Livingston. Lang was taken into custody. She admitted to having used methamphetamine and bath salts at the residence.
Deputies discovered damage to a shed on the property. Lang had poured gasoline on the shed and set it on fire. The owner of the property, Michael Walter Sikorsky, 56, of Livingston, was able to put the fire out. During the investigation, Sikorski also admitted to using drugs. With the assistance of the Narcotics Division, probable cause was established and a search warrant for the property was obtained and executed. A search of the property resulted in the discovery of drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, bath salts, prohibited weapons and LSD.

Lang was charged with Arson, three counts of Possession of Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest or Detention. Sikorski was also charged with three counts of Possession of Controlled Substance and prohibited weapons.
