The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is currently working an active murder investigation.
This afternoon, the body of Jasmine Muldoon was found in a wooded area, off US Highway 59, just a few miles North of Livingston.
Jasmine had been reported missing just yesterday, May 5th. Her body has been taken to the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office, for investigation and to determine the cause of death.
The suspect in this case has been identified as 23-year-old De’Andre Wright, of Livingston, TX, and he is currently wanted for the murder of Jasmine Muldoon.
A 1st Degree Felony Murder warrant has been obtained by Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Lyons is asking the public for their help in locating De’Andre Wright.
Sheriff Lyons is asking that you do not approach De’Andre Wright and that you immediately contact your nearest law enforcement agency if he is seen. If anyone has any information in reference to this case or may know the whereabouts of De’Andre Wright’s, to please contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, at (936) 327-6810. You may also submit an anonymous tip at p3tips.com, the P3 App, or call Polk County Crime Stoppers, at 936-327-STOP, where you can remain anonymous and may collect a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
Due to this being an active and ongoing investigation, no further information is being released at this time.
