Local 17 Year Old Charged with Online Solicitation to Minors, LIVINGSTON, May 2, 2014 - On April 27, 2014 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received two complaints from concerned parents in reference to some online conversations that their under aged children were receiving from an adult male. The conversations were from an adult male soliciting under aged girls ranging in ages from 11 to 13.
On April 28, 2014 Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office were able to obtain evidence against the suspect who was identified as Colton Alan Lester, 17, of Livingston. Detectives placed Lester under arrest and charged him with two counts of online solicitation of a minor (each charge carrys a $50,000 bond).
Based on the information that the Sheriff’s Office received there are other possible victims that have come into contact with Colton Lester online. The Sheriff's Office is asking that if you have any further information, please contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
