Career Burglars Behind Bars at Polk County Jail, LIVINGSTON, April 27, 2012 - A two week criminal investigation by Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Rangers has resulted in the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of several thousand dollars worth of power tools, hand tools, and lawn equipment. The investigation targeted a group of burglars breaking into homes and buildings along S.H. 146 South from F.M. 1988 to the Wild Country subdivision.
 
On April 26, 2012 investigators served arrest warrants on Charles Harold Myers, 29 of Livingston, and Sandra D. Grady, 44, of Spring.  Myers was charged with one count of Burglary of a Habitation and two counts of a Building.  Grady was charged with one count of Burglary of a Building.  Both suspects were already in the Polk County Jail on unrelated charged when the warrants were served.
 
The investigation of several burglaries in the area is still under investigation by Sheriff's Office Detectives Richard Delaney and Detective Stan Galloway. Texas Ranger Ron Duff is assisting the Sheriff's Office with the investigation.
