Woman Who Allegedly Left 10 Month Old Baby in Car for Over 3 Hours Arrested, LIVINGSTON, April 14, 2015 - According to Polk County Sheriff, Kenneth Hammack, on March 30, 2015 The Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call in regards to a ten month old child being left inside a vehicle unattended for approximately three and a half hours. Persons attending to the child prior to medical personnel’s arrival stated the child was lethargic, very red and hot to the touch. The child was transported by ambulance to CHI St Luke’s Hospital in Livingston. The child was given fluids and later released.
After further investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office a warrant for Abandon or Endangering a Child was filed on Julie Anne Floyd, 29, of Livingston. Floyd is the mother of the child. She turned herself into the Polk County Jail on April 10, 2015. Floyd was placed under a $10,000.00 dollar bond by Justice of the Peace Jamie Jones.
