Stalker Who Threatened Officials Apprehended, LIVINGSTON, April 12, 2011 - On Monday, April 11, 2011, the Polk County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team which includes Constables Bill Cunningham, Bubba Piper, Texas Rangers, and the Texas Attorney General's Office executed a search and arrest warrant on a residence in the subdivision of Lakeshore II.
The suspect, Kirk Alexander Berry, 45, of Livingston, had reportedly sent correspondence to State Legislators threatening the death of a peace officer, a judge, and a law maker if his demands weren't met. The Attorney General's Office with the assistance of the Texas Rangers investigated the claims of Berry and obtained a search and arrest warrant for stalking. At 8:17 pm Kirk Alexander Berry was taken into custody without incident.
