Oil Field Copper Thief Captured by Polk County Detectives, LIVINGSTON, April 9, 2010 - On April 1, 2010, the Polk County Sheriff's Office was able to identify two men who are suspected of committing copper theft form the Fam Cor Oil well site located off of Blue Water Cemetery Road in South Polk County. According to Detective Christopher Lima, the Fam Cor Oil well sites has been hit on 4 different occasions.
Lima stated that the Polk County Sheriff's Office takes an aggressive approach on crime that is committed in the county and that during the course of the investigation, two suspects were positively identified and a confession has since been obtained from one of the two suspects. Arrested and charged with theft of copper (a state jail felony) is Robert Robinson, 37, of Cleveland. Robinson was arrested on April 6, 2010 by Detectives from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

According to Lima, another suspect, Jeffery Earl Washburn, 35, also of Cleveland, has a felony warrant out for his arrest for theft of copper and the Sheriff's Office is actively looking for Washburn.
