Burglars Caught in the Act, LIVINGSTON, April 7, 2020 - On March 26, 2020 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to burglary of a home located off of Robinson Tract. The complainant advised there were several subjects taking items out of the residence. Deputies arrived on scene and found Joe Tomlinson III on the property with stolen items from the home inside his vehicle. Detectives were summoned and began to process the scene. The complainant stated that there were three white males and one white female at the residence prior to their arrival. Deputies located Randa Rooks up the road from the residence and it was determined she was the female subject at the residence prior to the deputies' arrival. Both Randa Rooks and Joe Tomlinson was arrested and charged with Burglary and transported to the Polk County Jail. Detectives are currently in the process of identifying the other two subjects that were at the residence.
