Onalaska Teens Charged in String of Burglaries, ONALASKA, March 30, 2011 - Two Onalaska youths have been jailed and charged in connection with several burglaries committed in the Onalaska area.
According to Detective Christopher Lima with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Efton Fonntenot, 18, of Onalaska, and Jeffrey Prager, 19, of Onalaska, have been arrested and charged in connection with three burglaries committed in the subdivisions of Canyon Park and Yaupon Cove.
During the month of March of 2011, the Polk County Sheriff's Office launched a criminal investigation into the theft of several items including a boat motor, four wheeler, dirt bike, moped, bicycles, and several other items of value from different residences and having a combined total value of over $10,000.
At time of press, both suspects are being held in Polk County Jail.
