Young Couple Arrested on Fentanyl Charges, LIVINGSTON, March 27, 2024 - On March 26, 2024, Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives served a Felony warrant on Brandon Michael Dunaway, 21, of Livingston, in relation to an overdose that occurred at a residence in Polk County earlier this week.
When detectives arrived, they identified Brandon’s girlfriend, Christian Cari Stanley, 19, of Livingston, who lived at the residence. Brandon fled out of a rear window of the residence and into a wooded area. Narcotics and CID Detectives assisted the Patrol Division in apprehending Brandon Dunaway a short distance from the residence after a brief foot chase.
A search warrant was obtained on the RV, which resulted in the seizure of a large amount of Fentanyl, along with items used to distribute the narcotics. As a result of the investigation, the following subjects were arrested and charged:
BRANDON MICHAEL DUNAWAY - Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (fentanyl), tampering with evidence, evading arrest/detention
CHRISTIAN CARI STANLEY - Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (fentanyl), hindering apprehension of a known fugitive
