Road Rage with a Firearm Lands Livingston Man in Jail, WEST TEMPE, March 27, 2024 - On March 26, 2024, Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of FM 3126 and Alabama Point when Dispatch broadcasted an attempt to locate on a maroon truck that was just involved in a road rage incident where a firearm was pointed at another motorist. Detectives observed the vehicle on FM 3126 and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver, identified as Sterling Boyd Martin, 26, of Livingston, was detained and subsequently arrested and charged with the following: Deadly Conduct, Resisting Arrest/Search/or Transport, Unlawful Carry of a Firearm.
