Two Arrested on Felony Methamphetamine Charges, MEMORIAL POINT, March 21, 2012 - On March 18, 2012 at around 6:00 pm the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received tips about a residence in the memorial point subdivision located off FM-3277. The tip stated that Thomas Ad Jackson was manufacturing methamphetamine inside a residence located at 349 Bending Oaks Lane in a rental home. Narcotics detectives and deputies with the Sheriff's Office arrived at the residence to find 24 year old Siobhan Mary Benitez sitting in the driveway, and 37 year Thomas Ad Jackson was inside the residence. Both subjects gave detective’s consent to search the residence and during the search a one pot methamphetamine lab, chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine and methaphetamine was located inside the residence and on the property. Both subjects were arrested and an additional arrest will be made from the Polk County area on a white male connected with this methamphetamine lab.
Jackson was arrested for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine a first degree felony) and possession or transport of certain chemicals with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine (a second degree felony).
Siobhan Mary Benitez was arrested for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine a first degree felony) and possession or transport of certain chemicals with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine (a second degree felony).
Jackson is currently on probation for selling prescription medications out of the holiday lake estates subdivision in South Polk County and he has been arrested since then for possession of methamphetamine from an incident out of the Big Thicket Lake Estates subdivision.
Both are still in the Polk County Jail under a $75000.00 bond as of 3-20-2012.
