Driver Arrested During Traffic Stop for Large Amount of Narcotics, YAUPON COVE, March 16, 2021 - On march 11th, 2021, a Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detective was patrolling the subdivision of Yaupon Cove in the Onalaska area of Polk County. He conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the subdivision. The driver was identified as Tina Ann Bendy, 34, of Onalaska. During the stop, probable cause was established for the search of the vehicle. During the search, marijuana and a large amount of ecstasy tablets were found. Bendy was arrested for possession of marijuana and manufacture and/or delivery of ecstasy Bendy’s vehicle was seized by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office due to its use in the commission of the felony offense of possession with intent to deliver of a controlled substance.
