Livingston Man Charged with Murder, LIVINGSTON, March 15, 2023 - On November 16, 2022, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received an emergency call, in reference to a male subject who had sustained a gunshot wound near Holly Hill Rd, in Livingston.
Deputies and Detectives from the Polk County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene and located the male victim who was identified as 72 year old Raymond Herrera, Jr., of Livingston.
Deputies also located the suspect on the scene and identified him as 70-year-old Kenny Wade Fisher, also of Livingston. Fisher made the emergency call to the Sheriff’s Office and stated to investigators on scene that he had shot the victim.
Fisher was detained and the victim was transported to a medical facility in Conroe, for medical treatment. Unfortunately, the victim later succumbed to his injuries.
Subsequent to the completion of the investigation and consultation with the District Attorney’s Office, Kenny Wade Fisher was arrested and charged with murder. Fisher was booked into the Polk County Jail with a bond set at $150,000.00.
